Childrens Ministry Grade Header 2
Lakeview’s Children’s Ministry seeks to teach Children in grades 1-6 to know their purpose in life: to honor and glorify God by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior, to know God’s Word, and to tell this Good News.

“Teach the children to love the Lord their God with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their might” -Deuteronomy 6:5

Missionary Prayer & Care teaches children that God desires the praises of people from every tribe, tongue, and people group.

They learn that God’s plan is for his children to carry the Good News throughout the earth either by going themselves or sending others. They learn that ALL of us must pray. They are given an opportunity to earn a Lakeview missionary card by praying for that missionary. Join us Wednesday evenings from 6-7 pm in the Kidzone.

Brother Al instructs children who are beginning a new life with Jesus as their Savior. Topics in this class include salvation, baptism, Lord’s Supper and Christian growth.

Our Catechism classes are typically scheduled for Monday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 PM in rooms W208-209 in the KidZone. The class is 4 weeks long. Childcare is available upon request. To register your child, follow the registration link below. If you have any questions, please email Gretchen Hood at ghood@lakeviewbaptist.org or call the church office.

The Next Catechism Class starts on Monday, August 17 in the KidZone.

BRING YOUR BIBLE

We will provide a catechism booklet for every child upon arrival.

———————-
On the last day, we will give the children and parents a tour of the baptismal room and baptismal pool. The boys and girls will receive a book from Miss Jennifer entitled “I’m a Christian, Now What?”, and the parents will receive a booklet from Bro. Al entitled “Forbid Them Not”.

Please plan on staying with your child for the class.
