Brother Al, as the Lakeview family knows him, has been Lakeview’s pastor since 1979. A native of Florala, Alabama, he is a graduate of Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California.
Bro. Al has ministered God’s Word throughout the United States and in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa.
He and his wife, Kem, have been married since 1972 and have three married children and nine grandchildren.
Associate Pastor: Minister to Families
Originally from Slocomb, Alabama, Cliff came to Auburn as a student in 1979 and has been on Lakeview’s staff since 1981. He graduated from Auburn with a degree in Education in 1983 and has a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary of Louisville, Kentucky. After serving as Lakeview’s Youth and Evangelism Minister from 1981 to 1991, Cliff was the College Pastor until February, 2008 when he began his new role as the Family Ministries pastor.
He is married to Toma of Auburn and they have five children: Becky, Ben, Whit, Ansley, and Clay.
Associate Pastor: Minister of Missions & Prayer

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Hal holds an undergraduate and a Master’s degree from Auburn University (1976, 1988) and spent fifteen years coaching and teaching prior to joining Lakeview’s staff in 1992 as Minister of Youth and Evangelism.
As Minister of Prayer since 1996, Hal leads weekly Wednesday night prayer meetings and gives oversight to “The Gap”, Lakeview’s 24-hour prayer room.
As Lakeview’s new Minister of Missions, he oversees our “Trinity Plan” missions strategy for engaging people all around the world with the Gospel and for supporting the work of Lakeview members and other ministry partners serving the Lord oversees.
Hal is married to Jere, and they have 2 married daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Associate Pastor: Minister to Internationals
Jerry officially joined the Lakeview staff in January of 2017 however, he has been active in Adult Sunday School, the Fellowship of Deacons, and the Internationals ministry, along with being involved in numerous other ministries throughout the church since joining in 1981. They have a love for people and a great desire to see the nations come to know Jesus.
Jerry and his wife Karen have two children, Scott and SiSi, and seven grandchildren.
Associate Pastor: Minister of Media
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Greg graduated from Auburn University in 1998 with a degree in graphic design and illustration. He worked for three years at Details Communications doing design work for companies, churches, and colleges all over the country.
Greg earned his Masters of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and began his ministry to youth at Hunter Street Baptist Church. From there he served as Minister to Youth and Students at North Highlands Baptist Church in Hueytown, Alabama before joining Lakeview’s staff in 2002 as Youth Pastor to work with youth in grades 7-12. In April of 2017, Greg transitioned on staff to oversee all visual media at Lakeview.
Greg is married to Ginger since 1999 and they have three children: Micah, Caroline, & Caleb.
Associate Pastor: Minister of Congregational Care
Dick Lane and his wife Sandy have been members of Lakeview since 1987. Dick has been an attorney of the law for 50 years, 40 of which he spent as a Judge in Lee County and surrounding areas. After his retirement from the court, Judge Lane attended Southern Seminary and earned his Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies. Following his ordination in 2014, He continued to faithfully serve as a Lakeview Trustee, Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Choir member. Judge Lane joined the Lakeview staff in February 2016. He and Sandy are excited to serve Lakeview in this new capacity.
He is married to Sandy, and they have two children and 4 grandchildren.
Associate Pastor: Minister of Music
Adam Traylor serves as the Minister of Music at Lakeview. He and his wife Teel have three children by the name of Sadie, AJ, and Michael. Adam received his Undergraduate Degree from LaGrange College in Church Music and his Master’s Degree from Liberty University in Worship Leadership. He was ordained into the Gospel ministry in 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Eufaula where he served as music minister for 11 years. Adam has a deep desire to see God’s family come together in worship with an overflowing desire of praise to God not only through music but through the daily walk of a believer.
Adam, Teel, and their children are so excited to be able to fulfill God’s call on their lives here at Lakeview.
Associate Pastor: Minister to Students
Kevin Webb serves as the College Pastor at Lakeview, beginning in June, 2017. Originally from Piedmont, AL, Kevin received his undergraduate degree in history from Auburn University in 2002. During those years, Kevin was a member at Lakeview and very active in the college ministry. He also began his seminary education and training for ministry at Lakeview as a seminary intern, graduating in 2005 with a M. Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. After continuing his theological education in Louisville, KY, he and Laura moved back to Alabama to serve for 7 years as the pastor of East Tallassee Baptist Church in Tallassee, AL. Kevin has a passion for discipleship and teaching, and is grateful to work with college students to help them grow in the faith as he did during his days as a college student at Lakeview.
He and his wife Laura have four children: Andrew, Samuel, Hannah, and Timothy.
Associate Pastor: Minister of Administration
Jim, a native of Canton, Mississippi, graduated from Ole Miss in 1979 with a degree in Business Administration. For the last 38 years, in Mississippi and Alabama, he served in numerous management and executive capacities with companies such as BellSouth, AT&T, Health Information Designs, and HDI Solutions.
Most recently, Jim served as President of HDI Solutions, directing its overall efforts in providing software development and data management products and services to state government agencies across the nation. On January 1, 2018, Jim became Lakeview’s Minister of Administration where he seeks to provide godly leadership in the church’s personnel, finance, facilities, and food service ministries.
Jim is married to his wife Cindy and they have one adult daughter, Allie.
Associate Pastor: Minister to Youth
Aaron is from Wetumpka, Alabama, and has been at Lakeview since 2014. He is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor’s in Communcation. He will graduate this May with a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
For the last 3 years, Aaron has served as one of Lakeview’s Seminary Interns. Through the course of the program, Aaron embraced Lakeview as home. He has a passion for the gospel, theology, and discipleship. As of 2017, Aaron began to serve as the Interim Minister of Youth. He is excited to see youth love Jesus more deeply and follow his Word more faithfully.
Aaron has been married to Whitlee since 2013 and they have a dog named Grey.

Samuel repented and believed the glorious gospel in 2011 and began following Jesus as Savior and Lord. He graduated from Auburn University in Education in 2014. Samuel married his wife Brooke in 2014 and their chief aim in life is to love God and help all nations, tribes, people, and languages hear the gospel and join around the throne of God in worship. Samuel entered full-time ministry in missions mobilization in 2014 and joined Lakeview staff in January 2018 as Director of Missions Mobilization.
As Director of Missions Mobilization, Samuel works closely with Hal in fulfilling the Trinity Plan by helping members of the church discover God’s redemptive plan for all nations, discover their role in God’s mission, develop their spiritual gifts to be used in God’s mission, and then deploy people into strategic ministry impacting all nations. Samuel’s role is specialized to train Lakeview members in a 9 month Go Group to prepare for disciple-making and church planting among unreached people groups. He also desires to help all members be more equipped to welcome the nations, send, pray, and mobilize.
Director of Women Students
Originally from Hoover AL, Anna joined the Lakeview family in January of 2016. She received her B.S. in Nursing from Auburn University in 2009. Following her graduation from Auburn, Anna moved back to Birmingham and worked as a pulmonary nurse at UAB. During this time, Anna developed more of a passion for serving young women and was actively involved in youth ministry with her local church.
After working as a nurse for 3 years, Anna sensed the Lord calling her into full-time ministry. She graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with her Master of Arts in Ministry to women in December 2015. Anna is excited to use her gifts and talents to minister to the college women at Lakeview.
She married Clint Barthel in July of 2018.
Youth Girls Director
Raxia became a member of Lakeview in December of 2017 and she is a student at Auburn University. She began serving in the youth ministry as an Equipping Group leader, and served as a counselor for Summer Retreat. After graduating high school in 2015, Raxia spent eighteen months on mission overseas before coming to college. She is wise, joyful, and mission-minded. She has a great passion for serving middle and high school girls and we are excited to have her as a part of our equipping staff.
Raxia came on staff in April of 2019.
A native of Alabama, Patty graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. As Children’s Director since 1984, Patty is responsible for equipping teachers and workers who minister to children in grades 1-6. Her areas include Sunday School, missions, Vacation Bible School, scripture memory, Kid’s Kamp, and special events throughout the year.
Patty is married to her high school sweetheart, Kenneth. They have three married children and eight grandchildren. Being a wife and mother has been her primary ministry in life. However, her love for children and her desire for them to come to know Jesus early in their lives prompted her to answer God’s call to ministry at Lakeview.
Joan is a native of Auburn and a graduate of Auburn University. She has been Director of Lakeview’s Preschool Ministry since 1991. She is responsible for equipping teachers and workers who minister to newborns through kindergarteners.
Joan and Sonny Moreman have been married since 1971. They have four children and ten grandchildren (number 11 due in October).
