TECHNOLOGY & THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
Technology is all around us. Smartphones and social media dominate our time and attention. But, as Christians, do we understand there might be hidden costs? Is there a way to use technology that honors the Lord, or should we live as digital skeptics? This weekend, we will get a big view of the God who is sovereign over technological progress, see how to develop wisdom towards using common grace gifts, and learn some habits for a technologically connected life. Our prayer is that we will leave the weekend with biblical wisdom on how to live in a digital age so that we can shine as light in our dark world. Join us!
Leaders
Each year, we bring in some friends of Lakeview to help us encounter the Lord in His Word and proclaim his glory through singing.
Joe is a 2020 Auburn grad currently working as a nurse in the Medical ICU at UAB. He and his wife, Becca, live in Birmingham. While at Auburn, Joe led worship for the College Ministry at Lakeview, and he’s so excited to join us for FUEL Weekend!
