After 10 years of dedication to teaching our students, Dr. Hoover is taking a much deserved retirement. But, God has sent us a wonderful new biology teacher, Albert Tzeng. He will be at the used book sale to chat with parents and students (next Tuesday, July 10 from 2-4 in Lakeview’s fellowship hall.)
Albert was born and raised in Clemson, SC and graduated from Clemson University in 2016 with a B.S. in Microbiology with a concentration in Biomedicine. He and his wife are members of Grace Heritage Church and serve on staff with The Navigators collegiate ministry at Auburn University. Through his work with The Navigators he teaches, trains, and mentors students through studying the Bible, praying together, and interacting over life experiences. He is passionate about equipping the next generation to think critically about God’s Word and the world around them and is excited to journey alongside his students in the biology classroom as they explore God’s creation.
