WHAT IS SUMMER RETREAT?
Summer Retreat is a time for Lakeview youth and their friends to get away from the distractions and normalcy of home and encounter the Lord through his Word. We bring small group leaders from Lakeview to serve and teach, and often bring in friends of our church to preach and lead in corporate worship. This year, we are headed back to Ocoee Ridge for a week of studying the Fruit of the Spirit, Christ-centered worship, and fun. Many of our students would say Summer Retreat is one of the most spiritually enriching weeks of the year! We can't wait to be back at Ocoee Ridge, July 5-9!

Included within this cost is all food, transportation, and lodging for the week at Ocoee Ridge as well as a t-shirt!
There is a discount for multi-child families. For the second child, it will be $340. For each child following it will cost $325.

This event could not happen without the generosity of so many in our church family. We have an opportunity for you to sponsor a student to attend Summer Retreat which is $400 or you can sponsor the event by donating any amount possible. We are so thankful for the many ways people come alongside us to support our ministry.

Frequently asked questions
My student cannot the full weekend, can he/she still register?
Of course! On the registration form, there will be a spot for you to let us know if your student needs to leave at any point during the weekend. If something arises after you have registered, please contact Camdyn Hillis at chillis@lakeviewbaptist.org.
What if my student has medication or an allergy?
There will be a section on the registration form for you to indicate if your student takes medication or has an allergy. For medication, we ask that you turn this in to our camp nurse when you drop off your child. For allergies, we will ensure your student has the proper accommodations for all meals.
What safety precautions will be taken?
Each leader and host home that works with your student will have completed a background check, as well as an abuse training.
We are unable to afford this event, can my student still attend?
We do not want to let money be a reason your student does not join us. If you are in need, please indicate on your registration form “sponsorship.” We are happy to provide full or partial sponsorships depending on the situation.
What if I need to cancel?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for the deposit of $105, but the rest of the balance that has been paid may be refunded.
Where will my student be staying?
Each student will stay in a bunk room alongside their peers in similar age group. Leader rooms will be positioned in such a way, where students will be able to reach them whenever needed!
