God's Church exists for the faith of God's elect, and the knowledge of truth that leads to godliness.

1. Faith of the Church is grounded in God's Word. (v. 1-4)

2. Leaders for the Church must be blameless. (v. 5-9)
1_He must be blameless in his family life.
2_He must be blameless in his character & conduct.
3_He must be blameless in his doctrine.

3. Challengers to the Church must be refuted. (v. 10-16)
