HOC

Welcome to Lakeview High School On-Campus (HOC). Our courses are open to all area high school students in accordance with our policies. Students do not have to be members of Lakeview Baptist Church or part of the Lakeview Christian School (LCS) covering to enroll.

Courses are designed for high school students desiring to earn Carnegie credits required for high school graduation. Some courses may be taken by academically prepared eighth-graders with HOC Coordinator approval. For details, see course descriptions.

Courses require regular in-person attendance. Students are expected to complete all course assignments as directed by the instructor. The HOC program is not designed to offer individual course customization.

Instructors are primarily selected based on expertise in the field and on their testimony that they are Bible-believing followers of Jesus Christ. Instructors also demonstrate that they are educated, experienced, and knowledgeable in the course they teach.

Registration Details

  • Registration fee is $55 per student through May 31; $80 beginning June 1.
  • In-person registration only
  • Checks only – no cash or online payment
    • Multiple checks required
    • 1 for registration/fees (per family)
    • 1 per course (per student)
  • Please read the standards and policies before registering.
  • Printable registration forms will be available.
  • All forms and payments are due at the time of registration.

Registration Dates

Registration will be held at Lakeview Baptist Church in the upstairs lobby near the children’s department.

Schedule

  • March 16-17: Registration opens to currently enrolled HOC, JOC, LEEP, and LCS cover school families.
  • March 23-24: Registration opens to the public.
  • Beginning March 25, registration is by appointment only – contact HOC@LakeviewOnCampus to register.

Days and Times

  • Mondays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
  • Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
