The Lakeview Food Pantry is distributing food to new and returning clients on Mondays from 9-11 AM. In order to protect the safety of everyone involved we will transition to a drive-thru service. Clients will be directed to a car line where they remain in their vehicle, a Lakeview volunteer will help the client with the necessary paperwork over the phone, and food will be loaded directly into the client's vehicle.
The Food Pantry of Lakeview Baptist Church exists to make, nurture, and equip disciples of Jesus Christ in sharing the gospel by tangibly providing food to those in need across East Alabama.
Food Distribution operates on a first-come-first-serve basis and occurs on Mondays from 9-11 AM.
The Food Pantry can always benefit from more volunteers.
There are opportunities to serve by delivering food to the food pantry and by helping withdistribution.
Because the Food Pantry operates on funds from Lakeview’s Benevolence Fund, donations to the Benevolence Fund earmarked for the Food Pantry are vital. We also welcome direct donations (e.g. cereal, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, soup).
