God of Covenant

By: Jen Wilkin

Beginning with Genesis 12, walk alongside the fathers of our faith—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph—to discern Jesus in the stories of His people.
Over 10 sessions, discover how God orchestrates everything for His glory and the good of His people, and see how the God of creation and covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Book Cost: $17

Sundays | 4:45-6:00 p.m. | September 8 – November 10 | Meets at Lakeview
Wednesdays | 9:00-11:00 a.m | August 28 – November 13 | Meets at Lakeview

Wednesday Morning Precepts

Kings and Prophets Series | Revival or Captivity?

This dynamic four-week course from the Kings and Prophets Series will have a major impact on your walk with the Lord. We’ll watch God raise up a Gentile threat (Assyria) to Israel as its kings continue the spiritual descent begun by Jeroboam – compromising with idols and refusing to repent at the warnings of prophets Elijah and Elisha.  Book Cost: $10

Wednesdays | 9:00-11:30 a.m. | August 28 – November 20| Meets at Lakeview

Followed by

Kings and Prophets Series | The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

In this last course of the Kings and Prophets Series, you’ll see worsening religious and political conditions in Judah. The final chapters of 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles introduce us to the last kings of Judah – one the best since King David (“the Good”), the other the worst Judah ever had (“the Bad”).

When God brings the Babylonians in to judge Judah and Jerusalem for their sins, everything gets really “Ugly.” Study hard and you’ll learn how God can keep you when your life combines “the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.”  Book Cost: $17

Tuesday Evening Precepts

Isaiah Part 1 | Chapter 1-39

In Isaiah Part 1, we’ll meet the Holy One of Israel, and learn how He deals with those who claim Him as God but don’t honor Him in the way that they live.  And we’ll find the destiny of nations, the future of all mankind … including ours.  Book Cost: $35  If interested, email Angelika McGuire at AMcGuire@auburnschools.org.

Tuesdays | 6:30-8:00 p.m. | Starts September 10 | Meets at the home of Betty Holland
