God of Creation

By: Jen Wilkin

Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse study, dive into the first 11 chapters of Genesis by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

Wednesdays | 9:00-11:00 a.m | January 16 | Meets at Lakeview

Joy of Living: James

The book of James emphasizes a dynamic Christianity, characterized by good deeds and faith, that is expressed consistently in our lifestyle. It is the most practical of all the letters in the Bible. We must not only believe our faith, but live it! This 8-week study includes weekly lesson commentary and daily study questions.

God Searches For A Heart Fully His

Neither Solomon, his son Rehoboam, nor his son Abijam followed God fully, nor did Jeroboam in Israel. Their hearts were divided. Would God ever find anyone to serve Him like David?  Would He ever find one whose heart was fully His? God says that we’re to love Him with all of our heart. Is that really possible? This 5-week course covering 1 Kings 15-2 Kings 1 and 2 Chronicles 14-20 has the answer.

Book Cost: $12.00 (PUP), $9.00 (In & Out)

A Love that Will Not Let Me Go

Hosea was the last prophet to the Northern Kingdom of Israel before they were taken captive to Assyria. He cried out to a nation caught up in harlotry, a nation which chose to abandon God and go after pagan idols. In this 4-week study of Hosea, you can learn how God deals with those who turn away from Him and about a love that will not let you go.

Understanding the Anger of God

Micah, Nahum, and Habakuk were the last prophets to the Southern Kingdom of Judah before Judah was taken captive to Babylon. Each prophet cried out to a nation which needed to heed the Word of the Lord about judgment. Any nation, Assyria or Judah, which chose to worship idols rather than God, would be judged by God unless they turned to Him in repentance, but God would warn them first. During this 6-week course, these prophets will teach you how God deals with those who turn away from Him and how He gives a warning to turn to Him rather than perish.

Book Cost: $16.00
