Children

Lakeview's Children’s Ministry seeks to teach Children in Grades 1-6 to know their purpose in life… to honor and glorify God by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior, to know God’s Word, and to tell this Good News.
We offer age-graded Bible classes on Sunday mornings, praise and music activities on Sunday evenings, and Missions classes on Wednesday evenings. Vacation Bible School in the summer, and an All Saint’s Fair in the fall are our largest events. We love children. They are welcome!

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:

M-PAC:
Missionary Prayer & Care
Missionary Prayer And Care teaches children that God desires the praises of people from every tribe, tongue, and people group. They learn that God’s plan is for His children to carry the Good News throughout the earth either by going themselves or sending others.
They learn that ALL of us must pray. They are given an opportunity to earn a Lakeview missionary card by praying for that missionary. Join us Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30p.m. in the Children’s Department.

KIDS WORSHIP:
Children’s Church for Ages 4-7 (Pre-K - 2nd Grade)
Children begin the morning worship service with their parents in the Worship Center and are dismissed to the lobby during the congregational singing before the sermon. The children are escorted upstairs to the Youth Center where they participate in great worship, play games, listen to a Bible story and have a wonderful time! Children should be promptly picked up at the end of worship.

Children’s Church is no substitute for the Christian education foundation laid in Sunday School. Children will benefit most by participating in both Sunday School and Children’s Church.
